IndiGo as first airline to use indigenous navigation system GAGAN
IndiGo has become the 1st airline in the country to land aircraft using the indigenous navigation system GAGAN. The 1st flight was conducted using an ATR-72 aircraft and was landed at the Kishangarh airport in Rajasthan using GPS-aided geo-augmented navigation (GAGAN).

World Bank approved a $47 million program for India’s Mission Karmayogi program
The World Bank has given its approval for a $47 million project to support India’s Mission Karmayogi. India’s Mission Karmayogi is a national program to build civil service capacity.
- $47 million in financial assistance aims to support the Indian Government’s objectives of enhancing the functional and behavioural competencies of approximately 4 million civil servants.

BJP leader and former Union minister Vijay Sampla is appointed as the chairperson of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) for a second time. President Ram Nath Kovind issued the official order for his appointment.
