World Bank approved a $47 million program for India’s Mission Karmayogi program – The World Bank has given its approval for a $47 million project to support India’s Mission Karmayogi. India’s Mission Karmayogi is a national program to build civil service capacity.

  • $47 million in financial assistance aims to support the Indian Government’s objectives of enhancing the functional and behavioural competencies of approximately 4 million civil servants.
  • India’s Mission Karmayogi program will focus on three components such as the development and implementation of competency frameworks; the development of an integrated learning platform; and program monitoring, evaluation, and management.
