The University of Adelaide offers the Global Academic Excellence Scholarship to international students who want to pursue higher education in Australia. International students who have applied for UG and PG programs at the University of Adelaide can apply for this scholarship.
The Global Academic Excellence Scholarship covers a reduction of 50% in the tuition fee to students enrolled in the full-time duration of the chosen UG and PG degrees. Candidates will be selected based on their extraordinary academic excellence. You will not have to submit file a separate application. Recipients from other institutions will be not eligible for this scholarship award.

Eligibility Criteria
You must have the minimum score outlined as follows to be eligible for the scholarship:
- Applicants with a minimum ATAR of 99.9 (or comparable score) for undergraduate (UG) program entry.
- Applicants with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 6.9 on a 7.0 scale or comparable score for entry to an undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) program.
- Applicants with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 6.8 on a 7.0 scale for studies completed at the University of Adelaide (or with a comparable score for studies at an Australian University where studies are completed in Australia) for entry to an undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) level award program.
- A scholarship committee will then assess applicants for suitability for the offer of the scholarship.
Application Process
The applicant’s selection will be determined during the time of application to the award program with the University of Adelaide.
The citizens of Vietnam, Taiwan, Colombia, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh have enrolled as International Students. Students who have completed their most recent qualifications in Australia can apply for this program.
Selection Process
Students will be based on academic merit and a selection process. The academic merit will be decided by the merit achieved in the qualification which constitutes the basis of admission to the University. You must fulfill the academic component for admission to the University of Adelaide and all other conditions to be eligible to be considered for the scholarship (Unconditional).
The Scholarship Selection Committee will consider applicants who are meeting the minimum merit requirement.
