La Trobe University offers scholarships to international students who are seeking to pursue higher education in Australia. The La Trobe College Excellence Scholarship-South Asia is offered to international students who hold an excellent academic background.
International students from any country India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Kenya, Nepal, Bangladesh, or Mauritius can be eligible for the scholarship. Applicants who want to study UG and PG programs at La Trobe University can take the benefits of the program. The Scholarship includes the tuition fees for high-achieving international students admitted to the UG and PG programs.

Eligibility Criteria
You must meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the La Trobe College Excellence Scholarships:
- Must be a citizen and resident of India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Kenya, Nepal, Bangladesh or Mauritius
- The age must be 18 years old or older at the commencement of the course; or must live with a student guardian approved by the Department of Home Affairs.
- Must hold an overall WAM* achievement of 80% or above.
- Students must have started their studies at any of the La Trobe University Victorian Campuses in 2024.
- Follow the University’s English language requirements.

Application Process
You must fulfill the application for the course commencing in Semester 2 (July) or Summer 1 / Term 6 (November) intake of 2024 at La Trobe University – Victorian campuses.

- Detailed resume
- Personal statement of no more than 300 words or a 3-4 minute video to detail “Why you should be awarded the La Trobe University Excellence Scholarship”.
Selection Process
Students will be selected based on their Academic performance, extra-curricular activities, and any other outstanding achievements. The selected students will be informed of a scholarship award letter through email.
