  • The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) of India has recently directed the startups to develop tools and machines for its first ever human space flight Gaganyaan-1 mission. also, ISRO lookf for potentially help them build products and solutions that they could exploit commercially. due to this movement, new opportunities will be made across the country.

Key Points –

  • ISRO has come to know that therae are 17 technologies that may be developed ocally at lower costs for use in its Gaganyaan mission.
  • ISRO is going to open up its facilities to such companies they are Larson & Toubro and HAL those will build its polar satellite launch vehicle (PSLV).
  • In addition, startups will help in developing food and medicines for astronauts, better tools to access machines in a spacecraft, green engines, life support systems and it also includes spacesuit, anti-radiation and thermal protection technologies for spacecraft that will help astronauts to come back to earth safely, and inflatable habitats that are required for the mission.
