The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will launch the PSLV-C54/ EOS-06 mission with Oceansat-3 and 8 nano satellites on board from Sriharikota spaceport on November 26th, 2022. The ISRO’s mission includes EOS-06 (Oceansat-3) plus eight nano satellites (BhutanSat, ‘Anand’ from Pixxel, Thybolt two numbers from Dhruva Space, and Astrocast – four numbers from Spaceflight USA).
Gaganyaan deceleration system
- The Gaganyaan deceleration system contains 3 main parachutes, besides the smaller ACS, pilot, and drogue parachutes, to reduce the speed of the crew module to safe levels during its landing.
