Google Launches “Women Will” Web Platform
On 8th March 2021, Google has launched a new web platform ‘Women Will’ on the occasion of “International Women’s Day”.

Indian Railways launches Integrated Rail Madad Helpline Number
On 8th March 2021, Indian Railways has launched the Rail Madad Helpline 139 and integrated all railway helplines into a single number ‘139’ (Rail Madad Helpline).
- The Rail Madad Helpline 139 will be used to making queries, assistance and complaints about passengers during the travel.

India’s 1st-ever Transgender Community Desk opened in Hyderabad
On 7th March 2021, The Cyberabad Police launched India’s first-ever Transgender Community Desk at the Gachibowli Police Station in Hyderabad.

- It will be managed by a Police Liaison Officer and a member of the transgender community.
- The desk will play a role in acting as the focal point for all grievance redressal among the transgender community in Cyberabad Commissionerate.
- the desk will also provide counselling, legal aid, life-skills, soft skills training, job placements, and referral linkages to welfare schemes in partnership with the Department of Women & Child Welfare and District Legal Services Authority.

The Heritage Foundation has released the “Economic Freedom Index”. as per the Economic Freedom Index, Singapore has topped again with 89.7 points in the global ranking for the 2nd consecutive year. followed by New Zealand and Australia got 2nd and 3rd place. North Korea is in the last position (178th) with 5.2 points.

Former Rajasthan Governor Anshuman Singh dies at 86
Former Rajasthan Governor Anshuman Singh has taken his last breath at the age of 86. he was suffering from some health ailments. he was admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow.
- He served as the Governor of Rajasthan between 16 January 1999 and May 2003.
- Prior to this, he had served as judge of the Allahabad High Court in 1984 and also became acting Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court.
