UP Gets 2nd Earth Station For Doordarshan Kendra – The Information and Broadcasting Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur has inaugurated the Earth Station of Doordarshan Kendra at Gorakhpur. during the inauguration, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present.
- UP based earth station of Doordarshan will be 2nd earth station of Doordarshan and will have an outlay of Rs.7 crore.
- They have also inaugurated three FM relay centres of 10KW each at Etawah, Gadania in Lakhimpur Kheri and Nanpara in Bahraich districts.
- Gorakhpur Doordarshan Kendra will telecast a one-hour-long programme in Bhojpuri.
