UCD Global Excellence Graduate Scholarships are given to academically exceptional students commencing their master’s studies, aimed at attracting brilliant students across the world countries and encouraging students to submit an early application.
Each year, UCD offers many Global Excellence Scholarships to international students (on non-EU fees) who have planned to start a course at UCD in September. UCD Global Excellence Graduate Scholarship includes 50% or 100% of the student’s tuition fees only. University College Dublin offers scholarships based on merit and the student’s scholarship application.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria to apply for the UCD Global Excellence Graduate Scholarships:
Applicants to the Global Excellence Scholarship will have already obtained one of the following statuses on an application for an eligible programme:
- Offer
- Conditional Offer
- Accept
- Conditional Accept
- Must be a permanent resident or a citizen of one of the eligible countries.

Application Process
Log into your existing online application account using your application No and password.
Under My Applications – Click ‘Scholarship Applications’.
Select the Scholarship you would like to apply for.
Answer the ‘General Questions’ & submit.

Selection Process
- The Committee will select the Successful and reserve candidates for the Global Excellence Scholarship.
- Candidates will be informed within two weeks of the Committee’s decision, or 5-6 weeks of the application deadline.
