HDFC Bank has partnered with the leading payments company Paytm. under the partnership, HDFC Bank will launch co-branded credit cards on the Visa platform to businesspersons, millennials, and merchants.

  • HDFC Bank is looking to regaining its lost market share in the credit card space due to the ban imposed on it by RBI for eight months as a penalty.

World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has released the Global Innovation Index 2021. as per the index, Switzerland has topped the ranking. followed by Sweden and USA have been ranked 2nd and 3rd place in the ranking.

  • The Global Innovation Index 2021 includes the innovation ecosystem performance of 132 economies and tracks the most recent global innovation trends.
  • India has been ranked at 46th place in the Global Innovation Index 2021  while Chinda and Pakisthan were ranked 12th and 99th positions.
