The SAA Arthur C. Parker Scholarship for Archaeological Training for Native Americans aims to support archaeological training for Native American students or employees of tribal, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian cultural preservation programs. High school students, undergraduate, post-graduate, or personnel of tribal or Native preservation programs can apply to get the award.
An award of up to $6,000 will be given to One Native American, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian student or employee.

Selection Process
The recipient must be of Native American descent and will request proof of this upon application. You will have to submit a brief description of the course and why it would be beneficial to you. Also, two letters of recommendation must be required; one being from an SAA member you are in good standing with.
