The Rocky Mountain Mining Institute (RMMI) was established in 1912, and aimed at promoting mining through education. The RMMI Technical Scholarship is offered to western mining through education. The scholarship is valued at $1000.

Eligibility Criteria
Follow the requirements for applying for the Program:
- Must be High School seniors
- Must be enrolled in a two-year technical or trade school program, in good standing, at the time of selection;
- Must be both a U.S. citizen and a legal resident of one of the following states – Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, or Wyoming;
- Must be studying an applicable trade; and,
- Must have an expressed interest in mining as a career path.

Selection Process
