Professor Eric A. Hanushek and Dr Rukmini Banerji have been honored with the world’s highest education accolade, the 2021 Yidan Prize.

• The Yidan Prize Foundation, Hong Kong has presented the coveted award for “contributions to education research and development”.
• The award includes prize money of $3.90 million (around Rs 28 crore), for each winner.
