PM will join in Grih Pravesham on 12th Sept
- On 12th September 2020, Indian Prime Minister Modi is going to be the part of Grih Pravesham on through video conferencing. PM Modi will make the inauguration of 1.75 lakh houses constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) in Madhya Pradesh. All houses were constructed during the amid of COVID-19 pandemic.
Key Points –
- This movement will be part of the Housing for All by 2022. On 20th November 2016, PMAY-G programme was initiated.
- More than 1.14 crore houses have been made under PMAY-G programme.
- In MP state, 17 lakh poor households have been given advantages of this Yojana.
- A beneficiary will be given 1.20 lakh rupees and the amount is to be shared by Centre and State with 60:40 ratio. beneficiaries will receive 4 instalments directly into the bank account.
- The main purpose of PMAY-G Yojana is to build 2.95 crore houses by the year 2022.
- As per Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS), beneficiaries will receive labour wages for 90/95 person-days.
