International Civil Aviation Day 2023: The International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) celebrates International Civil Aviation Day every year on December 7. International Civil Aviation Day: History

On December 7, 1994, the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) first observed International Civil Aviation Day to mark the 50th anniversary of the Chicago Convention. Thereafter, the UN General Assembly designated December 7 to be International Civil Aviation Day in 1996.
