India becomes 4th largest vehicle market, overtaking Germany – As per the report, was released by Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d’Automobiles (OICA), India has overtaken Germany and has become the 4th largest vehicle market in the world.
- China has been placed at 1st position in the terms of the largest vehicle market in the World.
- followed by the US and Japan are at the 2nd and 3rd place.
- India sold 3,759,398 vehicles in 2021 as compared to 2,973,319 vehicles in Germany.
