IMF slashes India’s GDP growth forecast for FY23 to 8.2% – As per The latest World Economic Outlook report, International Monetary Fund (IMF) has cut the gross domestic product (GDP) growth forecast for India in FY23 to 8.2 per cent. the latest World Economic Outlook report was released on April 19, 2022.
- Prior to this, IMF forecasted the gross domestic product (GDP) growth forecast for India to be 7.1 per cent.
- IMF also predicts India’s FY24 GDP growth forecast to be 6.9 per cent.
- as per the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the global economy will be 3.6 per cent for the calendar year 2022.
