About GATE 2025
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts/ Humanities. GATE 2025 will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) by Indian Institutes of Technology Roorkee. The examination will be conducted by IISc Bengaluru and seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee), on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GoI).

GATE Counselling 2025 Eligibility Criteria
- Must be Indian Nationals
- Must have valid GATE scores (Qualified in GATE 2025/ 2024/ 2023)

- Self-Attested Copy of GATE Score Card (2023 or 2024 or 2025)
- ID proof
- Registration form
- Transfer Certificate
- Migration Certificate
- Seat allotment letter
- Date of Birth Certificate
- 12th Class marks sheet
- Seat acceptance fee proof
- Degree/ Provisional Certificate
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Three Passport size colored photographs
- Marks sheet of qualifying examination (all semesters)
- One set of self-attested photocopies of all the original documents
- Original Conduct Certificate from the Head of the institution last attended
- An original Course completion certificate from the Head of the University/ Institute in case the result is awaited
