ENGIE partners with NSDC to train 600 youth in solar module programmes – Clean energy firm ENGIE has partnered with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) in order to provide training to 600 youths in solar module programmes. The main purpose of the partnership is to impart the knowledge, skill and necessary training addressing the niche market of young graduates preparing to join the employment market.

  • The training will be held in various locations including Anantapur, Kurnool, Kadappa, and Bikaner.
  • Post training, NSDC will deploy these trained candidates to various companies with the purpose of undertaking skill training programmes.
  • learners will have a chance to learn the basics of PV systems and their components, among another curriculum as a part of the programme.
  • National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) will send candidates to various companies for skills training and skill development when they will complete their training.
  • candidates will learn various skills such as how to do site surveys, procure components, assess customer requirements, install civil or mechanical and electrical components, how to handle testing, project commissioning, and PV maintenance.
