The University of Sydney offers Dr. Abdul Kalam International Postgraduate Scholarships in recognition of Dr. Kalam’s contribution to his profession as a scientist and aeronautical engineer, he was presented with an Honorary Doctorate of Engineering in 2011.

All eligible international students are conferred with scholarships who are seeking to pursue a master’s course at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies. Applicants will be provided a 50% tuition fee waiver under this program.

Eligibility Criteria

You must follow the requirements to be eligible for the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam International Postgraduate Scholarship

  • Must be an international student.
  • Must have an admission offer for a master’s level program in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney.
  • Must hold a minimum WAM (Weighted Average Mark) of 75 in undergraduate coursework

Application Process

Students who want to take the benefits of the program can access the online application form on the university’s website. Fill in the application form and upload the required academic transcripts of previously attended institutions.

Selection Process

Candidates will selected based on the academic achievements of applicants. The selection committee headed by the Associate Dean (Education) will choose the eligible applicants for the scholarship program. The committee will consider the applicants and based on their academic performance, compile a list of shortlisted candidates.

Selection Process

50% of the total tuition fees for the PG program at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Sydney.
