The HASS Scholarship for Excellence covers a partial grant to exceptionally intelligent undergraduates seeking admission to the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science at the University of Queensland. The Scholarship offers up to 10,000 AUD (5,58,374 INR) p.a. to each eligible applicant.
Selections will be primarily based on academic performance, personal essays, and other achievements. Applications for the year 2024 will be closed soon for the HASS Scholarship for Excellence. The application deadline for 2024 is yet to be announced. The scholarship can be extended over 2 years under very remarkable circumstances by the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Grant Details
The HASS Scholarship for Excellence will provide a grant of up to 10,000 AUD per year for tuition fees to the recipient. Applicants can request the extension of scholarship to the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences only under the following circumstances:
- If, due to sickness or significant personal conditions, a student needs to delay the start of studies for a limited duration of one year
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an Indian citizen.
- Must have completed an undergraduate degree from an Indian institution.
- Must have obtained an unconditional admission offer for a postgraduate program at UQ.
- Must not hold any other scholarships simultaneously
