New Mexico Press Women (NMPW) offers the Doris Gregory Memorial Scholarship was founded in the name of the award-winning NMPW member after her death due to cancer. The program covers an award of $1,000 every year to one or two undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in any New Mexico college. Students who are pursuing a career in journalism, communication, or any other related field of study including print journalism, broadcast, photojournalism, public relations, communications, or advertising at a New Mexico college or university can apply for this program.
