CJI inaugurated NALSA Centre for Citizen Services

Chief Justice of India Uday Umesh Lalit inaugurated National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) Centre for Citizen Services at Jaisalmer House. It will be used for the establishment of Legal Assistance Centre for Citizens, Legal Assistance Centre for NRIs, Training Centre, and Digital Command Centre for providing futuristic legal services in India.

  • The NALSA was formed under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987, which aims to offer free Legal Services to the weaker sections of society.
