World Wish Day 2023 – Every year, World Wish Day is observed on April 29th to raise your hand and help bring hope without limits to a child living with a critical illness. “Make-A-Wish Foundation” is an organization that supports and sponsors World Wish Day that focuses on making the wishes of terminally ill children come true.
World Wish Day 2023 – History
- World Wish Day was first celebrated on April 29, 2010. the day is inspired by the touching story of a young leukaemia patient back in 1980.
- 7 years old Christopher James Greicius was a highly spirited boy, battling blood cancer.
- He wanted to be a police officer. Arizona Police completed his wish and the little boy’s wish was granted — making him a police officer on April 29, 1980.
