Vinesh Phogat wins bronze in World Wrestling Championships – Vinesh Phogat has won a bronze medal in the women’s 53kg category at the World Wrestling Championship 2022 and defeated European Champion Emma Malmgren of Sweden by 8-0. Vinesh Phogat has also become the 1st Indian woman wrestler who won two medals at the World Championship. Vinesh was defeated by Khulan Batkhuyag of Mongolia.
