UP Govt to provide free high-speed internet connectivity to villages – The UP Govt will offer free wi-fi facilities to over 58 thousand places in the villages of the state. free wi-fi facilities will cover an area of 50 meters of the Gram Sachivalaya (village secretariat) building which is being built in every Gram Panchayat of the state.
- UP Govt aims to make every village a smart village and will provide high-speed internet connectivity to the village secretariats.
- The Govt will name the Gram Panchayat office as ‘Gram Sachivalaya’.
- ‘Gram Sachivalaya’ will ensure to provide all the documents/records/documents required by the villagers through Panchayat Assistant/Common Service Center (CSC) in the village secretariat.
