India registers 6.2% increase in death rate as per CRS during 2020 – The central government has released The Civil Registration System (CRS) report 2020 which is based on birth and death reports. as per the Civil Registration System (CRS) report 2020, the number of registered births has dropped from 2.48 crore in 2019 to 2.42 crore in 2020.
