Union Minister Jitendra Singh to inaugurate 8th All India Pension Adalat

Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh will inaugurate the 8th All India Pension Adalat in Delhi, where chronic cases will be taken up and resolved.

• The Pension Adalat will be linked through VC at different locations where Pension Adalats are being organized by Min/Depts across India to take up complicated cases.
• 7 All India Pension Adalat has been organised by the Department, in which 24218 cases have been taken up and 17235 cases have been resolved.

Padma Bhushan Dr R B Singh inaugurated the Five Days Training Program on Entrepreneurship opportunities in Agricultural and Industrial Waste Management for Environmental Sustainability. CM Stalin inaugurates iTNT hub

Chief Minister M K Stalin inaugurated the Tamil Nadu Technology (iTNT) hub through video conference from the Secretariat, built at a cost of Rs 54.61 crore inside the Anna University campus.

• India’s first emerging and Deep Tech innovation network, iTNT hub will help in promoting Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and Block Chain technology by integrating growing technologies to face future challenges.
• It will make an ecosystem for innovations and take Tamil Nadu to the top 10 positions in the world on Deep Tech.

National Medical Commission makes unique ID mandatory for doctors

According to the new Regulations of the National Medical Commission (NMC), doctors will now have to get a “Unique Identification Number” (UID) to practice medicine in our country. This identification number is developed with the focus of the NMC Ethics Committee in order to enable the practitioner to easily qualify for registration and medical practice in the NMR.

Manoj Soni takes oath as UPSC Chairman

Educationist Manoj Soni took oath as the chairman of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). He joined the Commission as a member on June 28, 2017, and has been performing the duties of the UPSC chairman since April 5, 2022.

• The UPSC conducts civil services examinations to select officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) among others.
• The Commission is led by a chairman and it can have a maximum of 10 members.

• Ashutosh Dixit is a graduate of the Staff Course, Bangladesh and National Defence College, New Delhi.
• He is a qualified flying instructor as well as an experimental test pilot, with over 3,300 hours of flying experience on fighter, trainer and transport aircraft.
• He was part of operations including ‘Safed Sagar’ and ‘Rakshak’.

Aditi Ashok becomes the first Indian female golfer who has entered the top 50 in the world rankings after her T5 place finishes at the LPGA Founders Cup.

• Aditi scored an average of 1.89 points and goes up by 15 places in the rankings.
• She is currently at the 49th spot in the women’s golf world ranking.
• USA’s Nelly Korda remains on the top with an average of 8.40 points.
• Followed by Korea’s Jin Young Ko, who moved one place forward with 8.38 average points overtaking Lydia Ko of New Zealand’s 7.84.

India’s Pramoth won two golds in “Thailand Para Badminton 2023”
