Uttarakhand govt will launch “Him Prahari” scheme for ex-servicemen & youngsters
Uttarakhand Government will launch the ‘Him Prahari’ Scheme for ex-servicemen and youngsters. it aims at stopping the migration of people from the state.
- ‘Him Prahari’ Scheme will focus on areas where migration occurs at a rapid phase, especially the districts which have international borders.
- It will also offer all necessary assistance to ex-servicemen and the youth, so that people stay put, and not move out.
- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Uttarakhand unit announced Him Prahari Scheme in its 2022 Election Manifesto.
- The estimated expenditure will be around Rs 5.45 crore.

India will host the Street Child Cricket World Cup in 2023. it is a mixed-gender cricket tournament for street-connected children and young people worldwide.
- The Street Child Cricket World Cup 2023 will be organised by Save the Children India (Bal Raksha Bharat) and Street Child United in September 2023.
- The tournament will have 22 teams from 16 countries (Including Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Burundi, England, Hungary, Mauritius, Mexico, Nepal, Rwanda, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe) to India next year.

Indian shuttler Mithun Manjunath has received silver in Men’s Singles at the Orléans Masters 2022. Mithun Manjunath was lost against world number 32 Frenchman Toma Junior Popov by 11-21, 19-21 points. Orléans Masters 2022 was held from 29th March to 3rd April 2022 in Orleans, France.
