India to host Street Child Cricket World Cup 2023 – India will host the Street Child Cricket World Cup in 2023. it is a mixed-gender cricket tournament for street-connected children and young people worldwide.
- The Street Child Cricket World Cup 2023 will be organised by Save the Children India (Bal Raksha Bharat) and Street Child United in September 2023.
- The tournament will have 22 teams from 16 countries (Including Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Burundi, England, Hungary, Mauritius, Mexico, Nepal, Rwanda, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe) to India next year.
- Street Child United and Save the Children will conduct the SCCWC 2023 in the collaboration of the World Bank, ICC and the British High Commission.
