Centre launches Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship
On 13th February 2021, The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship launches the Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship.
- the ministry begins the World Bank loan assisted programme SANKALP (Skills Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood Promotion) with the help of 9 IIMs of the country.
- The main purpose of this program is to strengthen skills training at the district level.
Covid Warrior Memorial will be set up at Biju Patnaik Park
The Odisha government is planning to set up a ‘Covid Warrior Memorial’ in Bhubaneswar. it aims to recognise the selfless services of Covid warriors.
- The government would build the Covid memorial at the Biju Patnaik Park in Bhubaneswar.
- along with it, The Govt will inaugurate the memorial on August 15, 2021.

- He will take place of Guenter Butschek who decided to relocate to Germany at the end of the contract for personal reasons.
- Llistosella will start serving from 1st July 2021.
