Centre launches Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship

On 13th February 2021, The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship launches the Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship.

  • the ministry begins the World Bank loan assisted programme SANKALP (Skills Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood Promotion) with the help of 9 IIMs of the country.
  • The main purpose of this program is to strengthen skills training at the district level.
