Status of Leopards in India 2018 report published
Shri Prakash Javadekar Ji (Environment Minister ) has published a report headlined ‘Status of Leopard in India 2018’.
- According to the report, leopard’s population has grown by almost 60 per cent in the last 4 years since 2014.
- At present, India has 12,852 leopards (this is estimated numbers in 2018). in the 2014 year, 7910 leopards were estimated.
