Rupee strong 11 paise against Dollar –
- The Indian Rupee (Rs) has stronger 11 paise against the US Dollar and reaches to 74.77 on 18th August 2020. this strongness of Rupees was due to positive domestic equities and weak American currency.
- The domestic unit was opened at 74.78 against Dollar at At the interbank forex market and later gained some strongness and reached at 74.77 vs Dollar. On 17th August 2020, Rupee was settled at 74.88 against the U.S. Dollar.
- The dollar index has dropped by 0.23 per cent to 92.63. and the index has the greenback’s strength against a basket of 6 currencies.
