RBI named Sitikantha Pattanaik and Rajiv Ranjan as executive directors – The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has appointed Sitikantha Pattanaik and Rajiv Ranjan as executive directors with effect from May 1st, 2022.
- Ranjan Rajiv will serve as an ex-officio member of the rate-setting panel Monetary Policy Committee (MPC).
- Pattanaik will serve as Executive Director (ED) and will look after the Department of Economic and Policy Research.
- Ranjan will take care of the Monetary Policy Department.
