Paudhe lagao Paryavaran Bachao
- Under the campaign ‘Paudhe lagao Paryavaran Bachao‘, The government of New Delhi is going to organize a Mega tree plantation. the campaign will run between 10th July and 26th July 2020. the Delhi Environment Minister Shri Gopal Rai ji shared information among public on 2nd July 2020.
Highlights Points
- The main objective of campaign is to make reducation air pollution by increasing green cover in the New Delhi State.
- The State govt is planning to plant 31 lakh of tree saplings during 17 days of campaign. The campaign will be commenced near ITO in National Highway 20 (NH 20).
- There will 20 lakh saplings (Big tress) and rest of 11 lakh saplings will be shrubs and is to be planted at both sides of the highway.
