Papua Guinea’s highest Civilian award to Prime Minister Modi – On 22nd May 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred with the Companion of the Order of Logohu by Papua New Guinea, the country`s highest civilian award for championing the cause of unity of Pacific Island countries and spearheading the cause of Global South.
The Prime Minister came on his second leg of a visit to Papua New Guinea on Sunday after attending the G7 Summit in Japan`s Hiroshima.
