ONGC secures bid to buy PTC’s wind power unit for Rs 925 Crore

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) successfully achieved PTC India Ltd’s wind power unit for Rs 925 crore. It will be a part of ONGC’s strategy to raise its renewable energy portfolio and diversify beyond its traditional fossil fuel operations.

PTC Energy Limited (PEL)

PEL was established in 2008 and holds a renewable energy portfolio containing 288.8 MW, including 50 MW wind power projects in Madhya Pradesh, 50 MW wind power projects in Karnataka, and 188.8 MW wind power projects in Andhra Pradesh.
