The New York Section American Water Works Association (NYSAWWA) Board of Governors offers the Academic Dedication Scholarship to encourage high school seniors and freshmen currently enrolled at a college/university to pursue a degree related to the water industry or pursuing an environmental degree. Eligibility Criteria

- Must be a high school senior who has been accepted into a four-year
- college/university pursuing a degree related to the water industry OR currently enrolled as a full-time freshman at a four-year college/university pursuing a degree related to the water industry.
- Must show interest in the water industry or in pursuing an environmental career. (i.e. school research; internship; job; other)
- Must be a New York State resident or attending school at an accredited New York State college or university.
