Noted mathematician CS Seshadri passed away

• The Noted leaders of Indian mathematics Shri C.S. Seshadri has taken last breath at the age of 88. He started his career as first batch of graduate students at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR). he was Inspired by David Mumford. then, he made his involvement in with geometric invariant theory and moduli.

Career –

• he also has proved a theorem with M.S. Narasimhan which is known as cornerstone of geometry. in 1984, he went to the Institute of Mathematical Sciences ( centre for mathematics research). in the year 1989, he started off the School of Mathematics (SPIC Science Foundation) now, it is known as Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI).

Awards –

• He was honoured with india’s Padma Bhushan in 2009. along with it, Seshadri was also accomplished Carnatic singer.
