Noted Indian Nuclear Scientist Krishnamurthy Santhanam Dies
The famous Indian nuclear scientist Krishnamurthy Santhanam has passed away. he was known for his noteworthy role in the 1998 nuclear tests at Pokhran.
- Santhanam served as the field director of the Defence Research and Development Organization during the tests of Pokhran-II.
- Along with it, he was associated with Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) and Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA).
