Educational Qualifications for NIT JAMSHEDPUR JRF RECRUITMENT 2024

M.Sc. in Chemistry with NET/valid GATE score or M. Tech/M.E./M.S. (Environmental Engg. /Civil Engg. /Production Engg. / Hydrology/Polymer Engg. Or equivalent with minimum 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA.

Desirable

Preference will be given to candidates having CSIR/UGC JRF-NET/GATE and working experience relevant to the project.

Job Description for NIT JAMSHEDPUR JRF RECRUITMENT 2024:

JRF will perform the sampling of microplastic samples from various freshwater ecosystems. Further, JR fellow will also be engaged in chemical analysis, risk assessment studies, and compilation of data for publications. A good knowledge of hydrological modelling and material characterization are required.

Tenure for NIT JAMSHEDPUR JRF RECRUITMENT 2024:

Selected candidates will appointed for 03 years.

Salary for NIT JAMSHEDPUR JRF RECRUITMENT 2024:

Rs.31,000/- per month + HRA (as per norms)

Selection Process for NIT JAMSHEDPUR JRF RECRUITMENT 2024

1. Candidates should ensure their eligibility for the post before applying. Ineligible candidates will not beallowed. Shortlisted candidates will be called for walk-in interview.
2. The assignment is purely temporary in nature and is co-terminus with the project.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview and/or joining the position.
4. All the terms & conditions for this recruitment will be as per the guidelines of SERB, Govt. of India and NIT Jamshedpur. Institute reserves the right to cancel the recruitment without assigning any reason.
5. The selected candidate will be required to work in the Department of Chemistry, NIT Jamshedpur as a full-time JRF fellow.
6. The decision of the selection committee will be final.
7. SC/ST/OBC/women reservation & age relaxation as per GOI norms.
8. Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets and other testimonials must be presented at the time of interview.
9. The selected candidate will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer.
