NEET MDS 2024: Exam Rescheduled For March 18

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has decided to defer the exam date of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2024. Prior to this, the exam was to be conducted on February 9 however, the exam will be held on March 18, 2024. Candidates must check the official notice for the exam released by the respective board on the official website of NBEMS at nbe.edu.in.

The official notice by NBEMS reads –

“Pursuant to the receipt of DCI Letter No. DCI/Admission/Admsn/MDS/ Gen/999/2024-25/2024/6933 dated 08.01.2024 and MoHFW letter No. V.12025/158/2023-DE(Pt) dated 19.01.2024, the conduct of the NEET-MDS 2024 examination which was earlier notified to be tentatively held on 9th February 2024, stands rescheduled,” The NEET-MDS 2024 shall now be conducted on March 18, 2024. The cut-off date for eligibility to appear in the NEET-MDS 2024 shall be March 31, 2024.

The NEET MDS is the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery and is an eligibility-cum-ranking entrance exam for students seeking admission to various dental or MDS programmes.

  • National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – postgraduate (NEET PG 2024) – March 3, 2024.
  • Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE 2024) December session – January 20
  • Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE 2024) June session – June 30, 2024.
  • The FET exam – February 18
  • NBEMS Diploma Practical Examination December 2023 session – February/March.
  • DNB/DrNB Final Theory Examinations April 2024 session exam – April 24, 25, 26, and 27
  • DNB-Post Diploma CET 2024 – May 19.
