National Intelligence Grid (NATGRID) Bengaluru campus – Home Minister, Amit Shah has inaugurated the National Intelligence Grid (NATGRID) campus in Bengaluru to help in stopping modern-day crimes and have the upper hand against any threats.
- NATGRID will be available to 11 central agencies and police across the country.
- Intelligence and legal agencies will be able to make full use of them with the barriers to critical data being removed.
- It will be a paradigm shift in the current way of working of agencies
- the central government will also develop a national database to monitor hawala transactions, terrorist funding, counterfeit currency, narcotics, bomb threats, illegal arms smuggling and other terrorist activities.
