JAIN University won Khelo India University Games 2021 – JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) has won the 2nd edition of the Khelo India University Games 2021 and received 20 gold, 7 silver and 5 bronze medals.
- followed by Lovely Professional University (LPU) and Punjab University placed 2nd and 3rd positions with 17 golds and 15 gold medals respectively.
- Siva Sridhar becomes the star swimmer by winning 11 gold.
Khelo India University Games 2021
- the 2nd edition of the Khelo India University Games 2021 (KIUG) was held at Sri Kanteerava Outdoor Stadium, Bengaluru.
- the mascot of KIUG 2021 was Veera.
- 3900 students from 210 universities participated in the second edition of the Khelo India University Games and played a total of 20 games.
- The Games introduced indigenous sporting competitions including Yogasana and Mallakhamba were also added to Khelo India University Games 2021.
