The famous Marathi filmmaker Sumitra Bhave has taken her last breath at the age of 78. she was suffering from age-related issues.
- She was famous as a duo with filmmaker Sunil Sukthankar in Marathi cinema and Marathi theatre.
- She worked in various films such as Doghi, Dahavi Fa, Vastupurush, Devrai, Badha, Ek Cup Chya, Samhita, Astu, Kaasav, among others.
