NADA App to Help Athletes about Banned Substances
- The Sports Minister Shri Kiren Rijiju Ji has started off an app for National Anti-Doping Agency. the app will be as an important step towards dope free sports and will provide updates about the banned substances and their use.
- The Sports Secretary Ravi Mittal and Director General of NADA Navin Agarwal were also present at the launching of the app.
Important Points –
- The app will act as a bridge between NADA and athletes and will help in sharing easily accessible information about sports.
- App commonly shares information prescribed medicines that are containing substances prohibited by NADA.
