MUFG Bank of Japan gets approval to open a branch at GIFT City – A Japanese lender MUFG Bank will open its new branch in Ahmedabad’s Gujarat International Financial Tec City (GIFT City) to conduct foreign currency lending.
- MUFG Bank of Japan has become the first Japanese bank to obtain approval for opening a branch at GIFT City in Gujarat.
- This will be the MUFG Bank of Japan’s 6th location in India. prior to this, its offices are located in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Neemrana.
