MUDRA loan scheme Tamil Nadu tops
The Finance Ministry has released the data and provided to Rajya Sabha. as per Data, Tamil Nadu state has got the 1st spot in Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) in order to offer loans to women and followed by West Bengal and Karnataka are at 2nd and 3rd place. almost 15 crore loans were distributed amounting of 4.78 lakh crores rupees.

Top 4 states received 52 per cent of MUDRA loans for women. MUDRA loans have been offered to agriculture, services, trading, processing, manufacturing sector and so on.
About Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana –
The centre began Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana in the year 2015. the main objective of Yojana was to offer loans to non-corporate, small and micro-enterprises. Needy people can take a loan of up to Rs 10 lakhs. loans will be distributed by Regional Rural Banks, Commercial banks, Small Finance Banks, Non-Banking Financial Corporations, Micro-Financial Institutions.
