Lok Sabha passes the National Nursing & Midwifery Commission Bill 2023 – The Lok Sabha passed the National Nursing and Midwifery Commission Bill, 2023. The Bill will provide for regulation and maintenance of standards of education and services by nursing and midwifery professionals. The Lok Sabha also passed the National Dental Commission Bill, 2023. The Bill seeks to regulate the profession of dentistry in the country, aimed at providing quality and affordable dental education.
- The Indian Institutes of Management (Amendment) Bill 2023 was introduced in the House.
