• On 31st October 1875, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was born. he completed his education in law and became the most successful lawyers in India.

• In the year 1917, he became the part of the Indian Independence movement and met with Mahatma Gandhi.

• He also hosted relief efforts between the famine in Gujarat. he joined ‘Gujarat Satyagraha‘.

• In the year 1920, he was chosen as the President of Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee. he was against alcoholism, untouchability, caste discrimination.

• he was a key in Non-Cooperation Movement of Mahatma Gandhi and promoted to wear the only khadi.

• He played a key role in unifying the 565 princely states to independent India due to this, he is called him the title of ‘Iron Man of India’.

• He passed away on 15th December 1950 in Bombay. he was honoured with the Bharat Ratna posthumously.
